A: If your current hosting provider can no longer measure up to the necessities of your site, or if you go through frequent network downtime, or if you are forced to wait for hours for the help desk staff to respond to you, it might be a smart idea to change your hosting provider, i.e. to move all the files for your websites together with your databases from your present provider to your new provider. At MSRV Technical Services, we realize that this can often be hard & time–consuming. That’s why we’ll do all that for you for free!Our competent technical team members will transfer your website content from your current hosting provider to us. Our techs have got broad experience with website migration and are able to handle everything – from a conventional WordPress–driven weblog or Joomla^™–based site, to a very elaborate, custom–made app.

A: There are plenty of aspects to keep in mind – the total number of files, the size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the current workload of our web site migration professionals, etc. That being said, we do try to carry out all website migrations in a 48–hour period. Smaller web sites are migrated much faster – typically within 24 hours.

A: We do not require any sensitive details. We will need, however, the login information for your present web hosting account and the name of the web site that you need to move.

A: In order for us to start the transfer of your account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to disclose practically the same information you have provided to your previous host. We’ve also got a very strict Privacy Policy, which describes how delicate information is dealt with.

A: Nope. Your website will stay online during the migration. Once everything is completed on our end, we’ll tell you so that you can preview it and check for any problems. If everything is fine, all you will have to do is edit your domain’s DNS records.

A: Nope. Aside from your login credentials for the Control Panel, we won’t require anything. We’ll never get in touch with your web hosting provider. They will not know anything about the transfer either.

A: We can transfer your website from any web hosting provider or any Linux–powered web hosting platform given that we can gain access to the Control Panel and there’s FTP access available.The only web sites that we cannot migrate are the ones based on closed–source software apps such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
